The British Columbia Hockey League and FASTHockey have joined forces to offer a rich digital media experience to BCHL fans across the globe.

The partnership begins immediately with broadcasting set for the 2012-2013 hockey season.

According to a BCHL press release dated June 19, viewers will be treated to a world-class platform boasting breathtaking video, instant game achival for Video-On-Demand playback, and a host of other features that will make home and away broadcasts truly a professional viewing experience.

“Our agreement with FASTHockey not only provides us with the tools we need to raise the profile of our league, but ensures that our fans will have a first-rate experience watching games at home,” said BCHL commissioner John Grisdale. “It will allow users to not only see live BCHL games but also get caught up on the latest highlights from around the league.”

FASTHockey will carry all BCHL league and playoff games in the 2012-2013 season, including the 16-game Showcase event slated for September 7-9 in Chilliwack.

“We are incredibly excited to be partnering with the BCHL,” stated Marc Ruskin, President of FASTHockey.

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, with offices in Detroit, Vancouver and Amsterdam, FASTHockey serves as a digital media partner for a number of hockey governing bodies, including Hockey Canada, USA Hockey and the NCAA.
