The Bass Coast festival wrapped up its fourth year of operation in Merritt on Sunday, July 10. About 3,500 people attended the three day audio-visual extravaganza, and while the music was loud, party-goers and music fans were well behaved throughout the festival. Merritt RCMP confirmed they were not called in for any drug overdoses, and reported only minor issues within the festival grounds on the weekend. Art instillations, wild costumes, and thumping beats were hallmarks of the festival, and relatively stable weather meant nobody had to dance in the mud.
