Woman cuts wrist with knife
Emergency crews were called to a residence on Garcia Street and Merritt Avenue where a woman cut her wrist on Tuesday night.
Ambulance and police arrived to the scene at about 9:45 p.m. and discovered a knife on the counter.
The woman’s mother was at home with her, trying to help her while police arrived.
Police turned off their sirens as they arrived so as not to alert the woman.
Emergency response wasn’t available to comment on the woman’s condition by press time.
