A team of seven Merritt bowlers traveled to Kamloops on May 7 to compete in the Special Olympics regional qualifying tournament, held at Bowlertime on the North Shore.

In the girls’ competition, Lange scored the highest single game and second-highest triple.
Amongst the boys, Simpson had the third-highest triple score, while Collins had the top single game score (216) of all Merritt bowlers.
