Dr. Bonnie Henry announced a total of 24 new cases of COVID-19 since her last press briefing on Tuesday, bringing the province’s total to 2,940.

Tuesday-Wednesday: 15

Wednesday-Thursday: 9

Interior Health cases remain the same at 201 total cases.

There are 160 active cases, with 17 people in hospital. Two of those cases are in intensive care units.

Three more people have died in B.C. since Tuesday, including two people in long-term care facilities.

Dr. Henry also announced that borders will remain closed until the end of August.
