Bass Coast Music Festival has announced their line up for the upcoming 2022 show. On Thursday, April 21, Bass Coast posted the line up for the upcoming summer festival on their official Facebook page.

“Today we’re really excited to announce our full music line up is out and it features artist from around the world,” said Andrea Graham, co-founder of Bass Coast Music Festival.

“Some of my highlights would be the 20/20 LDN showcase featuring Ivy Lab, Claude Von Stroke from the UK, and we also have a huge roster of Canadian artists that we support as well.”

The roster also includes acts such as Ace Moma, Anz, and Galcher Lustwerk.

“We’re beyond thrilled to be returning in Merritt this summer,” said Graham.

“It’s been a long two and a half years and we really missed being in Merritt and building the festival as it has become our second home.”

Recently, Bass Coast have set aside tickets for locals at a discounted rate. The tickets are sold at the 378 Board Shop on Quilchena Avenue.

“February 10, we released the tickets online only and those are almost sold out,” said Graham.

“That said, we have quite a few local tickets that will still be available in 378 Board Shop even after the online tickets sell out because we want to make it a priority for locals to attend.”

For the past two years, Bass Coast has not hosted a festival in Merritt due to COVID-19 restrictions. On November 15, the company planned to put their tickets up for sale but unfortunately had to delay until February because of the floods that took place.

“Merritt has gone through an incredibly hard two years with the floods and it’s been devastating to a lot of individuals and businesses in town,” said Graham.

“Over the eight years that we have built Bass Coast in Merritt, we have become very close with a lot of business owners and they always say that during the festival, their business increases exponentially.”

The Bass Coast Project Ltd. was founded in 2009 by Andrea Graham and Liz Thomson. The company initially hosted arts and music festivals in Squamish, BC but has moved to Merritt in 2013 where it has hosted its events since.

This year the festival will take place from July 8-10 and capacity will be capped at 6500 patrons.
