A semi truck caught fire on Hwy. 5A near Nicola Ranch on the evening of Sept. 13.
The vehicle was still smouldering the following morning, with tow trucks taking away the wreckage around noon.
Traffic was slowed in the area while emergency services cleared the scene.
The incident caused a small wildfire, marked by BC Wildfire Service as 0.1 hectares. It is listed as under control.
