A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped put the Country Christmas together. A thank you too, to the Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce helpers who worked at the hot dog stand, our contribution to Country Christmas: M+M Meats, Rob, Etelka, Danielle, Jen, Diane, Darrel and Tom.
The Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce held their Small Business Christmas Social Dec. 7, 2011 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at The Grand Pub and Grill and Merritt Printing held their business after business on Dec. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. after an all-day grand opening of their office supply store.
December tends to be a full month for all of us so add one more good thing to your list.
On Dec. 13, the B.C. Visitor’s Centre will host a business after business event, giving us two events in the same month. The Visitor Centre open house, like the Merritt Printing open house will be a well-attended event you won’t want to miss.
The Chamber would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our members and volunteers for their help throughout 2011 and to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year.
