A Logan Lake neighbourhood in the northeast portion of the district has been downgraded from an Evacuation Order to an Evacuation Alert.
The downgraded Alert mainly consists of the neighbourhood near Paska Lake, affecting 118 addresses. These include:
• 4704 to 4792 Atwater Rd;
• 9273 to 9437 Dominic Lake FSR;
• 4445 Greenstone Rd;
• 4700 to 4870 Mile High Lane;
• 4812 to 4897 Paska Lake Rd;
• 4730 to 4890 Pine Ridge Way;
• 4830 to 4860 Saddle Cres.
The Order was originally put in place for the area due to the Tremont Creek wildfire. The latest update from the BC Wildfire Service on the fire says that crews are making “quick progress” in some areas due to the downturn of weather.
The downgrade from Order to Alert is the second in two days for the TNRD’s Electoral Area ‘J’. 65 properties were downgraded just before 6p.m. on Aug. 25 to the west of today’s downgraded area, including:
• 380 Guichon Creek FSR;
• 5860 to 5900 Haywood-Farmer Rd;
• 280 to 640 Tunkwa Lake Rd;
• 1140 to 7923 Tunkwa Lake Rd.
