Beginning Monday, March 21, rapid antigen test kits will be available for people ages 30 and up.

Through community pharmacies, people 30 years and older could pick up one kit containing 5 tests, every 28 days for free.

Personal health number must be presented to get a kit. When picking up for someone else, name, personal health number, and date of birth are all required.
Guidelines for testing still maintains tests should be used for symptomatic individuals.

About 7.6 million tests have been shipped to pharmacy distributors with more than 2.3 million test kits dispensed to more than 1300 participating pharmacies.
More than 30.2 million tests have been distributed across all priority populations and pharmacies.

It is expected that BC will receive more than 2.5 million tests in the next few weeks.

In Merritt, rapid antigen tests are available at the No Frills and Walmart pharmacies, Pharmasave, and Black’s Pharmacy.
