One more case of the coronavirus was announced in the Interior since Friday, bringing the region to a total of 200.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced 26 new COVID-19 cases across the province over the last three reporting periods.

Friday-Saturday: 10 new cases

Saturday-Sunday: 14 new cases

Sunday-Monday: 2 new cases

The majority of the new positive cases appeared in the Fraser Health region, the hardest hit health region throughout the pandemic.

No new deaths were announced, after five straight days of new deaths prior to Friday.

Eighteen people are in hospital across B.C.: one more since Friday.

Five people are in intensive care, the same number as Friday.

There are 153 active cases: down six from Friday.
