The goal of the Kamloops Festival of the Performing Arts (KFPA) is to encourage the development of the performing arts, Dance, Music and Drama within Kamloops and surrounding areas.

Participants can compete in a wide variety of sections and dance styles and receive adjudication from highly qualified adjudicators from around BC and Alberta.

The adudicator for this year’s Ballet and Modern dance section, Tania Brossoit, is a director with The DANCE conservatory in West Vancouver.

Dedicated dance students from the Love To Dance Academy worked hard and and after two months of intense and specific dance training and coaching by dance instructors Lizette Nel (ballet) and Vanessa van Rensburg (Spanish Flamenco), they were ready and excited to perform and compete in the 2020 Kamloops Festival of the Performing Arts.
