On March 21, 2021, Merritt Front Line Officers were called to a home in the 2800 block of Cranna Crescent where it was alleged that Ms. Christeena Clarke had broken into the home and assaulted a victim over a personal dispute.

On March 31, 2022, in Supreme Court, Ms. Clarke pleaded guilty to being unlawfully in a dwelling house and assault. She received a conditional discharge for both offences, probation for 18 months, and was ordered to pay a $200 victim surcharge.

On September 8, 2021, the Merritt RCMP received a call from a concerned citizen reporting a silver Acura RDX was driving at erratic speeds on Highway 5 near Comstock Road. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Abbotsford that morning. Police were able intercept the vehicle as it drove past Merritt and the driver was arrested without incident.

On March 31, 2022, Mr. Tyler Klutskow pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to comply with release order. He received 365 days in jail, probation for one year and a twelve month driving prohibition.
