One lane of Highway 5 southbound between Merritt and Hope has been reopened following a vehicle incident between Portia and Box Canyon. A truck rolled over, blocking lanes.
An assessment is currently in progress.
Detours are available via Highway 8 to Highway 1 from Merritt and Highway 5A to Highway 3 from Merritt.
Crews are on the scene. Watch for workers and obey traffic control personnel. Expect heavy delays and congestion.
