One new case of COVID-19 was discovered in the Interior over the last day.

Dr. Henry announced 12 new cases testing positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in her daily briefing on Thursday afternoon.

There are 307 active cases in B.C., down ten from yesterday.

Other health regions:

Vancouver Health: 887 (was 885)

Fraser Health: 1,223 (was 1,214)

Island Health: 126 (same)

Northern Health: 60 (same)

Three more deaths occurred in the Province, though none in the Interior. One case was in Vancouver Health, while the other two were in Fraser Health, all in long-term care. There have been a total of 153 deaths from the coronavirus in B.C.

43 people are currently in hospital, with eight in intensive care.

British Columbia has had 2,479 total positive cases.
