School District 58’s elementary school basketball tournament was held at NVIT and Merritt Secondary School on Feb. 20.
Bench Elementary finished on top for the Grade 6 and 7 boys, while Vermillion Forks 1 and 2 picked up silver and bronze respectively. Nicola Candford was fourth, while Collettville finished fifth. Central and Diamondvale rounded out the seven-school tournament.
On the girls’ side, Nicola Canford took the top spot, while Collettville and Vermillion Forks 1 were second and third. Central picked up fourth, with Bench in fifth, Vermillion Forks 2 in sixth and Diamondvale in seventh.
