Three people accused of stealing a car in Williams Lake were picked up by RCMP officers just south of Merritt, early on Thursday morning.
The vehicle was reported stolen from a dealership in Williams Lake on March 12, and the suspects were identified through video surveillance.
On March 14, police responded to reports that three people were walking down the Coquihalla Highway south of Merritt. The stolen Kia was located after police tracked down the individuals.
Merritt RCMP Frontline officers have arrested three suspects in conjunction with the stolen vehicle, two males and one female, all from the Williams Lake area, are facing various charges,
said Cst. Joel Kooger in a news release.
