Three new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at a current outbreak in a West Kelowna nursery, according to Dr. Bonnie Henry.

Bylands Nurseries has been battling with the novel coronavirus, with a previous case also announced on Monday.

27 new cases were found positive in B.C. in the last 24 hours.

Dr. Henry gave her daily update on Tuesday afternoon, adding that the total of cases has reached 1,517.

658 cases have now been found in the Vancouver Health region 601 in Fraser Health, 89 in Island Health, 141 in the Interior, and 28 in Northern Health.

The Interior number has risen by five.

3 new deaths were announced, a large decrease from Monday’s announcement of eleven.  All three were in long-term care facilities, between Vancouver Health and Fraser Health.

The total has now reached 72 in B.C.

One new long-term care facility outbreak was announced, in the Vancouver Health region.

134 cases are currently hospitalized, with 58 in intensive care.

942 people have fully recovered in the Province.
