As extreme flooding and landslides cause thousands to be evacuated from their homes across several regions of the province, numerous domestic pets and livestock have been drastically affected.

Through the McVitie fund, the Vancouver Humane Society has announced that they will be assisting with the needs of animals and their guardians impacted by flooding.

According to the Vancouver Humane Society: “We know that unexpected costs come up during a disaster. The most important thing is that your pet is healthy and has access to all the medications they need. We can help with veterinary costs for pets.”

All animal species qualify.
