Dear Editor:

For many years now I have been trying to trace the whereabouts of my father’s cousin. Her name was Alice Jane Wilkinson and she emigrated to Canada from Yorkshire, England with her father William Alfred Wilkinson in 1908 when she was three years old. She lived with her paternal grandparents in Willow Point – Edwin and Jane Wilkinson and their family, George, Alice, Nellie and Edith.

They are in the 1911 census having also emigrated in 1908.

Her father remarried in 1911 to Marguerite Cooke Keefe and at the time of the 1911 census lived on Victoria Street in Nelson.

Alice Jane later married James Fairley from Scotland in Merritt, Sept. 1927.

I am unable to access birth records to see if they had any family as they are not released after 1903, or indeed if her father had any more children.

I am 72-years-old now and time is of the essence!

If anyone has any information, please contact me and let me know. Thanking you in anticipation.
